RVs aren't standard cars — and they're not standard trailers either. Class A motorhomes can be 45 feet long and 13 feet tall; fifth wheels need a properly equipped tow vehicle; pop-up campers fold for transport. Each type has its own prep checklist, weight class and route considerations.

Easy Peasy USA Logistics coordinates RV transport nationwide for every category — from Class A diesel pushers to Class B camper vans, fifth wheels, travel trailers, toy haulers, pop-ups and park models. For drivable units we offer driveaway service (a vetted driver drives your unit to the destination); for non-running or towable units we use the appropriate trailer or hitch setup.

As a licensed FMCSA freight broker (USDOT 3990628 · MC 1496963), we work with carriers that specialize in RV transport — operators familiar with leveling jacks, slide-outs, awnings, holding tanks and the quirks of moving an RV without damaging it. Every shipment is fully insured. Pick up from dealerships, RV parks, private homes, auctions and storage facilities anywhere in the continental US.

Three steps from quote to delivery

1. Tell us the RV details

Make, model, year, length, height, weight class, whether it's drivable, where it currently sits and where it needs to go. For towables, let us know if you have a tow vehicle or need us to provide one.

2. We pick the right transport method

Drivable RV → driveaway service (a vetted CDL driver drives it to destination). Non-running or smaller towable → trailer or hitch transport. Heavy fifth wheel → specialized RV hauler. All-in quote, no surprises.

3. Pick up, transport, deliver

On the agreed date, our driver picks up at the origin, completes a damage inspection, transports with progress updates, and delivers to the destination. You do a joint inspection at delivery — done.

Common questions

How much does RV transport cost?

Costs depend on RV class, length, weight, distance and method (driveaway vs trailer). A Class C motorhome coast-to-coast is typically $1,500-$3,000 with driveaway; a 40ft fifth wheel via specialized hauler is more. Get a free quote with your exact specs for accurate pricing.

What's driveaway service?

If your RV is drivable and legal (current registration, insurance, no major mechanical issues), our vetted CDL driver drives it to the destination instead of putting it on a trailer. It's faster and usually cheaper than trailer transport for Class A, B and C motorhomes. You provide fuel money for the trip; we provide the licensed driver.

Do you transport non-running RVs?

Yes — non-running, inoperable or partial-condition RVs are transported on a trailer or via tow rig. We need to know the condition upfront (won't start, no brakes, flat tires, etc.) so we send the right equipment and quote accurately.

How should I prepare my RV for transport?

Secure all slide-outs in their travel position, retract leveling jacks, close and lock all windows and roof vents, retract awnings, empty holding tanks (gray and black), turn off propane, secure loose items inside, disconnect batteries on long-haul transports, remove personal valuables. We share a full prep checklist before pick-up.

Is my RV insured during transport?

Yes — all transports go through licensed and insured carriers. Cargo insurance covers the unit in transit. We provide the certificate of insurance before pick-up. For high-value Class A motorhomes ($200k+), supplemental coverage can be arranged.

How long does RV transport take?

Drivers cover roughly 500 miles per day on average. Coast-to-coast is typically 5-7 days for driveaway, 7-10 days for trailer transport (trailered RVs travel slower due to oversize/permit restrictions). We provide a delivery window when we confirm the booking.
